APA-The Engineered Wood Association recently updated 25 CAD details on its APACAD.org website, which provides building designers with more than 200 free CAD details for wood-frame construction. Updated details include “One-Hour Fire-Rated Combustible Floor/Ceiling Assemblies,” “Panel Stair Treads and Risers,” “Horizontal Beltline Joints,” and “Energy-Conserving Sturd-I-Wall Assemblies.” Details are available in four formats–DWG, DWF, DXF, and PDF–for download and insertion into building plans.
